On Monday, March 27th, Dr. Dipesh Navsaria will give a presentation on early brain and child development, including the topics of toxic stress and child adversity, the importance of early literacy, and the first 1,000 days of life.

Dr. Navsaria is an associate professor and pediatrician at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, and the founding medical director of Reach Out and Read Wisconsin. 

The Early Brain and Child Development Event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on March 27th at 1701 W. Allen Street in Rice Lake, (Red Cedar Church). RSVP now!

Attendees are encouraged to bring gently used or new books to swap or donate for others to love! Free childcare will be available.
