B Day

Seniors:  Looking for a fun-filled, fantastic day away from school.  Sign up in the office for your senior class trip to Valley Fair.  Pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Einum and return it along with $30.00 to secure your spot.  The price includes transportation, admission to all venues except bungee jumping and the opportunity for some great memories.  Final day for sign up will be May 22.

Seniors:  Make your reservation today for the Senior Banquet.  For only $10.00 you will enjoy a terrific meal, your senior most-likely awards presentations, and video presentation.  Following our banquet festivities will be the scholarship awards in the auditorium.  You must have your paid reservation made by May 23rd.

There will be a boys basketball meeting @ 7:40 am in Room 231 on Wed. May 9th.”

Attention Students: If you are interested in being of a member of next year’s Student Council, please pick up a form in the attendance office or from Madame Fox. The forms are due this Friday, May 11th. Current council members must also complete the form.

Heritage Manor needs volunteers to bake ad play games with the residents.  Please see Ms Brendel or sign up across from Ms Andrews classroom

Students who signed up to take the June ACT test:  The first ACT Prep session will be held this Wednesday, May 9th at 5:30.  Science and Writing will be the subjects for this session.

 Facin’ it is a free program, offered through the Barron County Safe and Stable Families group, for teens ages 12-18 who may be struggling with alcohol, drugs or other addiction issues either personally or within family and relationships. The primary goal is to provide the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to help teens meet today’s tough choices face to face, and overcome the challenges of addiction or living with it. If you are interested in this opportunity, and/or want more information, please see MS. Sheridan or Mr. Shomion in Student Services.

A representative from the Navy will be in the cafeteria during all 3 today to visit with interested students.

A representative from WITC will be in Student Services to visit with interested students on Tuesday, May 8th, at 9:30.  Come to student services to get a pass out of class.

Attention all students: Please help out you fellow RLHS students Gabby Ashlin’s “carnival painting”, Abigail Featherly’s “Donald Driver”, or Mason Schneider’s “outer space” in the US Congressional Art Competition.  On US Congressmen Sean Duffy’s Facebook page there will be a wall for the art contest. “ Like” one of their paintings and help make it the people’s choice and send it to be displayed in the US capital for 1 year.  The voting goes through May 18th.  The person with the most “likes” wins.  Please help support these artists.

Marshfield Clinic is offering free WIAA physicals on Wednesday, May 9 and Wednesday, May 16 evenings. Call Marshfield Clinic to set up an appointment and remember to bring a WIAA physical form to the appointment.
