February Scholarships

Barron Electric Cooperative’s Scholarship Program will be offering $1,000 achievement scholarship to graduating seniors attending a designated high school within the Barron Electric Cooperative service area who’s parent or guardians are members of Barron Electric Cooperative and who plans on a post-secondary education. Deadline for this scholarship is March 29th.

Fortnightly Club is offering a $1000 scholarship to any senior girl who is attending school next fall.  Criteria includes scholastic achievement, financial need, community service and extracurricular activities.  Deadline is March 29th.

Sterling Bank will be giving three $1,000 scholarships to students from RLHS. Criteria includes leadership, scholarship, school and community involvement, work ethic and motivation.  Deadline April 1

AMVETS is offering several renewable $1,000 scholarships for students who are grandchildren of a United States Veteran.  Must carry a 3.0 GPA and be attending a college or tech school next fall.  Deadline - April 15

Barron County Farm Bureau  will be granting three $250 scholarships for high school seniors.  This scholarship is open to all students with preference given to students from Farm Bureau families.  Deadline is April 1st.

The Rural Mutual Insurance Company will be awarding $7,000 in scholarships to winners of an essay contest to high school seniors that are planning on attending a Wisconsin public or private college or vocational college.  Deadline is May 31st.Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Art Scholarship is offering three $1,000 scholarships to provide assistance to individuals pursuing education in the visual arts.  Deadline is April 26th.

The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation will offer up to 60 scholarships to high school seniors that plan on attending a University of Wisconsin System school.  Applicant must be a resident of Wisconsin going to a public high school and participating in the basketball program either as a player or manager.  Deadline for this scholarship is April 30th.

Angel on my Shoulder Foundation is offering twenty-five $1,000 scholarships to seniors who are survivors of cancer or who have had an immediate family member by cancer.  Deadline is February 20th. 

The Officer Mike Baribeau Memorial scholarship of up to $3,000 is available to students seeking a degree in criminal justice or police science.  Scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than April 6th.

Delta Theta Sigma  is offering housing and academic scholarships to high school seniors that will be attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison or Madison Area Technical College.  Come to Student Services for more information.  Deadline is February 15th.

National Farmers Organization is sponsoring their annual Steve Pavich Memorial and Farm Kids for College scholarships for high school seniors interested in pursuing an education in agriculture. Come to student Services for more information.  Scholarship deadline is March 7th.

Jennie-O will be offering nearly $50,000 in scholarships to its employees and their dependents.  UP to 50 $750 scholarships and up to two $6.000 scholarships will be offered.  Come to Student Services to pick up an application.  Application deadline is March 15th. 

Joseph Stavri MLS/CLS/MT $4000 scholarship for Wisconsin students that will be pursuing a degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Science and going to a university in Wisconsin the MLS/CLS/MT curriculum.  Application are due March 1.

The American Legion Auxiliary will be awarding several scholarships to children or grandchildren of veterans who served in the Armed Forces.  Come to Student Services for more information and the application forms.

WEAC Scholarships is being offered to high school seniors whose parents are: An active WEAC member, or an active WEAC retired member. Deadline is February 20th.

Student Scholarships.org has several scholarships available to Rice Lake High School Students.  Come to Student Services to pick up the information.

Pagel Graphic Arts Scholarship Fund is providing scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500 to individuals who are attending school full time and pursuing some form of post-secondary education in the graphic communications industry.  Scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance, outside activities and financial need.  Deadline is February 28th.

Charter Student Scholarship program has up to 10 $1000 scholarships to be given out.  Deadline is March 30th, 2013

Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Ladies Auxiliary are offering scholarships to grandson/granddaughter/son/daughter of a VFW or VFW Ladies Auxiliary member.  Applications are available in Student Services, the deadline is April 30th. 

Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers  have several scholarships available to graduating seniors who plan to study engineering.  Come to Student Services for more information.
