4 Year Old Kindergarten - 4K


Rice Lake Area School District 4K sites welcome all students and families as we provide a safe, play-based approach to early learning, grounded in the Wisconsin Early Learning Standards.  We build social and emotional competence and confidence in a culturally responsive learning environment, creating a positive school experience for all.

4K

The Rice Lake School District offers 4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) to children:

  • who are 4 years old on or before September 1st
  • who live in the Rice Lake Area School District or
  • who have open-enrolled into the Rice Lake School District

We offer 4K Programs in 3 locations:                                               

Each 4K Program offers:

  • quality classroom experience for 4 year old
  • transportation for families who live in the Rice Lake Area School District
  • parent and family activities
