Board of Education District Policies and Procedures

In 2005, the Rice Lake Area School Board Policy Committee initiated a comprehensive review of all school board policies. The process began with the existing policy manual being forwarded to the Wisconsin School Board Association where their role was to examine policies for content, accuracy, and validity. Their directives and suggestions are being brought to the District Board Policy Committee one section at a time where discussion and revision is taking place. Reviewed and /or revised policies are then brought to the full Board of Education for approval. As sections are reviewed and/or revised, they will be added to the district web page.

Please Note: There is a delay between the time the board makes policy changes and the time those changes are available on this site. The policies on this site are for information only.  Official policies are available from the Office of the District Administrator at  (715) 234-9007 ext 5020.
