Special Education

Welcome to the Rice Lake Area School District’s Special Education Department.  The Rice Lake Area School District offers a full continuum of special education and related services for students age 3 through 21.  At the elementary, middle, and high school levels, students are provided services in their home school to the extent possible to meet their unique, individual needs.  Students receive services in educational settings ranging from self-contained to fully integrated educational environments, both on and off campus. We offer an exceptional early childhood program (for students with special needs prior to 4-year-old kindergarten) as well as a work experience program for our high school students
