Some of the following scholarship opportunities ask for the document to be returned to the Student Services Department. In order to submit you have the following options: - email all documents to [email protected]
- bring hard copies of documents to Student Services
with either option, Mrs. Drost will ensure that they will be submitted to the applicable scholarship program. Please include your name, scholarship you are applying for, and contact information.

The Roger F. Sasina Memorial Scholarship is available to Rice Lake High School seniors pursuing a career in the trades or a 2 year vocational or technical school. Students who did not excel academically by have the ability to succeed, and students who face economic obstacles in furthering their education are encouraged to apply. The Rice Lake Kiwanis Golden K offers this scholarship to Rice Lake High School seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must possess personal qualities which include dedication and determination to achieve goals. Please turn application in to Student Services.

Mary Roelli Hilfiker Scholarship |
Up to $2,500 |
The Mary Roelli Hilfiker scholarship is available for female students accepted at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with majors in STEM, nursing or education. Minimum GPA of 2.75 and minimum ACT score of 24 are required. This scholarship uses the same application as the Rice Lake Area Scholarship. Please turn in to Student Services.

Merlyn Catherine Black Memorial Scholarship |

This scholarship was set up in memory of Merlyn Catherine Black who was born in Rice Lake and graduated from RLHS in 1938. Applicants must be female and have been accepted to UW-Madison. An essay on a woman in literature, either author or character, who has influenced your life. Minimum length is 1250 words. The RLHS English Department will select the recipient.

Optimum Therapies Scholarship |

Optimum Therapies of Rice Lake offers this scholarship to students seeking further education in service-oriented career fields. This is not limited to health care professionals or those with interest in physical therapy. Completed applications, in essay format, must be mailed to Optimum Therapies-Rice Lake.

Paul and Virginia Larson Scholarship |
Up to $2,500 |
The goal of this scholarship is to give the opportunity to any student pursuing post-secondary education, with preference given to those seeking a 4 year degree that may not have the means, or the scholastic excellence to get adequate financial support otherwise. The perfect candidate would be a "late bloomer" who has a large potential that, for whatever reason, has not realized it yet.

The Club annually presents post secondary scholarships to those individuals who will be engaged in studies intended to lead to career goals employing conservation principles, natural resources management, ecosystems management or environmental and related sciences.

Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Art Scholarship |
Up to $5,000 |
The family of Carrie Stuckert has created the Dream Pool Foundation, providing assistance to individuals pursuing education in the Visual Arts, including Art Therapy. A 1-2 page autobiography recognizing your activities , community service awards, reason for pursuing a degree in visual arts and how you plan on using your knowledge and skills upon graduation is required. Two letters of recommendation are also required.

This scholarship will be awarded in memory of Dave Crotteau, a true Warrior athlete and Warrior fan. Two scholarships will be available. One to a female athlete at RLHS who played basketball and/or volleyball during high school and one to a male athlete at RLHS who has played football and/or basketball during high school.

The Long Lake Chamber of Commerce is please to announce to that are offering the Dan Lubensky Memorial Scholarship to graduating seniors. An essay explaining your college/career plans, work experience or personal goals is required. Special interest would be given to work experience or professional goals in conservation, hospitality, tourism, but consideration will not be limited to those fields, Essays can be turned in to Student Services.
