Board of Education Election Information

All Board of Education members are residents of the Rice Lake Area School District.
School district electors who are interested in becoming a candidate for school board at the spring election must complete a Declaration of Candidacy, Campaign Finance Registration Statement, and Nomination Papers and return to the district office at 30 Phipps Avenue, Rice Lake, WI 54868. All documents are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. *Nomination papers shall not be circulated earlier than December 1, 2025. 

Registered Write-in Candidates: To register as a write-in candidate, you must file a Campaign Finance Registration Statement by 12:00 p.m. (noon) the Friday before the election.
